  • What does “Visa on Arrival” mean?

  • It means you will receive your Visa at the airport upon arrival, instead of getting at a Vietnam Embassy world wide. All you need to do is to follow How to Apply
  • This means that you get your Visa Approval Letter to take to the airport, where you will get the visa stamped on your passport.
  • You do not need to go to the Embassy, fill any paper forms, or to send out your passport to the embassy. It can be easily completed by applying on our website with a wait of just 1-2 working days instead of 7-10 at an embassy. Everything will be done over email and online.
  • After getting the Approval Letter, you will need to prepare the following this for arrival at the Vietnam airport.
  • - Get the Visa Approval Letter printed (can be downloaded at Check Visa Status) - Prepare 02 passport-sized pictures (photos of your face) (4*6cm) - Fill out the Arrival Form in advance or on arrival (click here to download)* - Take the letter with you to show the Airlines when boarding on the plane - Prepare the Visa Approval letter for a visa stamp when you arrive at the Immigration Office in the international Airport Vietnam (Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho chi minh city, or Danang airport in Danang city) - Prepare (25USD/1 month & 3 month single entry and 50USD/1 month & 3 month multiple entry) per person by cash for visa stamping fee (paid by yourself upon arrival)
  • It is important to have a passport with at least 6 months remaining, and that all information is correct and up to date.
